Hello, and Welcome!
My name is Trey Redfield. I'm a sports broadcaster from Kearney, Nebraska, coming from my hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina. In May of 2023, I graduated from Syracuse University, where I anchored shows, reported live games, interviewed players & coaches, & called multiple sports on different platforms. At SU, I worked for WSTM-TV, WNYO-TV, CitrusTV, WJPZ-FM, WAER-FM, & ACC Network Extra.

I live and breathe sports. I started swimming and playing baseball when I was six years old, adding running in middle school. I was never the best athletically (despite running a sub-5 mile twice, I'm proud of that), so I knew at a very young age this is what I wanted to do. Watching ESPN's "SportsCenter" before school every day with eggs and bacon in front of me kind of helped me out.

As you can see, "Hello, and Welcome!" is listed above this bio. I say that at the top of almost every Play-by-Play broadcast I am apart of. It shows inclusion to my audience, creating a welcoming environment. I can't wait to do that here, showing you my work. Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope to talk to you soon.

What Am
I Up To?
I am now a sports anchor and reporter for KHGI-TV in Kearney, Nebraska, working with the amazing folks at NTV! I cover Nebraska Athletics, UNK Athletics and high school sports.

Even with graduating from college, this website will still be updated plenty, so be sure to stay on the lookout for new reels in studio, in the field and in play-by-play.

I can't wait to show you everything I have to offer.
